About Us:
Darrell Block, Owner and Lead Instructor of Van Isle Forklift has been driving mobile equipment for 18 years. He has been an Ives Certified trainer since 2018 and began instructing at North Island College. Darrell has a passion for safety training and has real world mobile equipment and lockout experience. He is a Red Seal Industrial Electrician by trade and is a proud Canadian Forces Veteran serving 8 years in the Royal Canadian Navy. Darrell has held positions such as Electrical Shop Supervisor, Maintenance Manager, and Lockout Coordinator.
